CLICK HERE FOR OUR NEWSLETTER - PARROT TALK Not the America's Cup One of the favorite pastimes of Jimmy and his Key West friends was a "sailing" race, known to locals as the "Tequila Regatta". The idea was to have each team start at one end of a local hotel pool. First, you take a shot of tequila, swim to the other end of the pool, take another shot of tequila, race down the beach to the sailboats, take another shot of tequila, sail to a buoy and back to the beach, another shot of tequila, race to the hotel pool, another shot, swim to the other end of the pool, and yes, another shot.
